HCA recruits expert panel to inform policy
The Homes and Communities Agency (HCA) is creating a panel of 400 housing and regeneration bosses to inform policy.
Chief executives, directors and heads of service from the public, private and third sectors will complete quarterly online surveys about issues such as meeting affordable housing targets and delivering low carbon homes.
The panel will be compiled over the next three weeks, with the first survey focusing on the impact the recession has had on the housing and regeneration industry.
Sir Bob Kerslake, chief executive of the HCA, said: “The place-making panel will provide us with an expert sounding board so we can ensure all our programmes will ultimately create opportunity for people to live in high quality, sustainable places.”
