Dudley College is to apply for planning permission to develop 220,000 sq ft of  buildings in Dudley town centre.

The college wants detailed planning consent for 110,000 sq ft of new teaching accommodation near the existing Broadway Campus, and within the town centre conservation area.

It  is also seeking outline planning for 110,000 sq ft of new accommodation on the Broadway Campus itself. The College plans to dispose of three residential sites for redevelopment that have become surplus to requirements.

Turley Associates has been appointed to advise the college on planning.
