London Fire Brigade signs 17-year lease
The London Fire and Emergency Planning Authority has confirmed it has signed a new 17-year lease at its headquarters in Southwark, London.
The body is believed to be paying £3.022m a year for the 117,392 sq ft Union Street property, owned by HDG Mansur Investment Services.
Peter Matthews, HDG Mansur’s head of investment management for Europe said: “This is very positive news. We are delighted to have been able to negotiate a new lease with the existing tenants.
“It confirms the attractiveness of the property in the marketplace and makes it a very secure investment for the future.”
