Liverpool targets sites for planning framework
Liverpool City Council has today launched a hunt for sites that should be targeted for development or redevelopment in its local planning framework.
The council (town hall pictured) has launched a “call for sites” to encourage members of the public to submit ideas for potential sites that could be included in its local planning framework, which is due to be updated.
The framework will help the council develop policies that allocate land for specific uses including housing, employment, retail and commercial space.
Landowners, developers, and members of the public have until 3 September to submit suggestions to the council.
