City of London Corporation hires two property directors
The City of London Corporation has appointed Nicholas Gill and Peter Young as property directors.
Gill has been appointed as investment properties director and will be responsible for the strategic direction and performance management of the City of London Corporation’s investment property portfolio.
He joins after 21 years at ING Real Estate Investment Management where he was managing director from 2002.
Young joins as corporate property director, will have overall strategic responsibility for the City’s operational property portfolio. This includes Guildhall, Mansion House and the City Bridges.
Young joins from BAA Heathrow and was more recently a property adviser for the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs.
Both will report to Peter Bennett, the City surveyor, and will be based at the council’s Guildhall headquarters.
