DTZ hires public sector guru from GVA Grimley
DTZ has poached GVA Grimley occupier consultancy director John Keyes.
Keyes becomes a director in the firm’s corporate real estate consulting business, and will be based in the Manchester office.
Keyes, who advised on over £500 million of capital investments in the further education sector, has worked on major projects including York College, where he acted as lead adviser in developing a property strategy and overseeing £60 million in capital investment.
Before joining GVA Grimley, he has worked at KPMG, Manchester City Council and Stoke on Trent City Council.
Keyes will report directly to James Grierson, head of corporate real estate consulting. Grierson said: “John’s appointment strengthens the corporate real estate consulting team in the north west as part of the continual deepening of our public sector strategic consultancy offer.
“I am confident John will be a valuable asset to the organisation and to our public sector clients.”
